Women’s Soccer drops game against Mount Olive

Women’s Soccer hosted a home game oct. 7 against Mount Olive with a tough loss of 4-1.

This game was a dedication game for the Susan G Kormen Foundation, which has the mission to save lives for research for breast cancer.

In the first 2:44 of the game the Trojans scored their first goal against Ferrum, with the second goal being scored at minute 35:31. Finally with 30 seconds left in first half of the game, a penalty kick was scored by the Trojans, making the score 3-0.

During the 71st minute the Trojans scored their fourth and final goal.

In the 86th minute, Ferrum’s silence was broken when first-year Jaden Hiers scored off an assist from freshman Macy Taylor.

Since this contest, the Lady Panthers beat Virginia State 4-2 on Oct. 15.
