Women’s Soccer Suffers Loss at Francis Marion

On Oct. 18 Ferrum went up against Francis Marion on Hartzler Field in a conference game.

Ferrum took the loss of 3-0.

The Patriots first scored at minute 4, skimming the top left corner. The second goal was made at minute 34, meeting the bottom right of the goal, and the third and final goal was made at minute 63.

The Panthers had some shots from the game leader, sophomore Breanna Herlihy with two shots, junior Alondra Vera with one shot, first-year Summer Stevens with one shot, and finally first-year Macy Taylor with one shot.

Senior goalkeeper Ashli Wuss recorded 13 saves and played all 90 minutes.

The next game will be against Barton College today at Barton at 2 p.m.
