Norton Outdoor has planned several different events for this fall season for students to become engaged in.
“The leaves are changing and the beautiful fall weather is here. Come out and join us and explore the woods,” said Aaron Conover, Instructor of Ecotourism and Recreation Leadership.
The first thing on the calendar is a rock climbing tower session offering up an opportunity to scale up the Norton climbing wall on this evening (Oct. 17) from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the climbing tower ropes.
“Rock climbing on our tower is fun and great exercise,” remarked Conover.
Next up in the ledger is Disc Golf starting on Wed., Oct. 18, and will go every Wednesday until November 1. Interested folks should meet at the practice tee near the tennis courts.
The final item on the slate is a Fall Trail and Nature Walk on the campus trails on Sun., Oct. 29 at 2 p.m.
“Fall is a great time to go for a walk in the woods. We will be walking on the campus trails while observing and learning about the natural environment around us,” continued Conover.
Binoculars will be provided for the walk, participants need to bring their own water bottles and snacks.
