Panthers Track and Field competed at the Verklasse Invitational at High Point University on Sat. April 5 in a DI dominated meet.
Currently the 4th nationally ranked DIII runner, first year Jahmal Jones took 6th in the men’s 200m with a personal best time. Sophomore Elijiah Joyner also PR-ed in the men’s shot put, and sophomore Hannah Parks broke her personal record in the 100m.
The 4×100 relay team placed 10th, sophomore Kyle Holcomb took 20th in the men’s hammer throw, and first year Jaiden Childress placed 13th in the men’s high jump.
The team will compete next on April 11 and 12 at the Dennis Craddock Coaches Classic in Lynchburg, VA.
