The Iron Blade is a student-run, student-produced publication at Ferrum College, located  in the Village of Ferrum, VA.  The publication is considered a platform of free expression under the criteria as set forth by the United States Supreme Court and the Student Press Law Center. The editorial staff welcomes productive conversation and comment.

Op-ed pieces of no more than 750 words may be submitted using the Multi-media tab. Letters to the editor of no more than 300 words may be submitted the same way.

Opinion pieces do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the entire staff.
