Freshman Sydney Miller had two assist for the Panthers

The women’s soccer team scored three times in the final 45 minutes of play to earn a 3-0 non-conference women’s soccer win over visiting North Carolina Wesleyan University this afternoon at Penn-Roediger Field.

Following a scoreless first half, the Panthers took control in the second 45 minutes of play. Jamie Adams took a pass from Anna Milliron at 62:33 and beat N.C. Wesleyan goalkeeper Jordan Fransee to break the ice. Adams followed that with a goal at the 72:59 mark off a pass from Sydney Miller to make it a 2-0 game.

Jadyn Patton scored an insurance goal for the Panthers at 77:58, with a double-assist from Miller and Lacey Flanagan.
