LAX Women Make it Two in a Row

Senior Erin Reynolds eclipsed the 100-point career mark.

Women’s lacrosse made it two wins in as many days as they beat Wilkes University 11-8 in non-conference play on March 7, at Ashley Booth Field. The Panthers beat North Carolina Wesleyan College 11-6 on March 6, with both games played during the Panther’s spring break.

Willow Cooper junior, ripped the back of the net four times to lead the Panthers to the win. Erin Reynolds, senior,  had a goal and two assists, breaking 100 career points. She now stands at 101 career points.

Bianca Cellitto, senior, had a pair of goals; Reagan Aldridge, senior, had a goal and three assists; Victoria Tyler, grad student, had two goals,;and Sydney Kincaid, senior, had a goal. Starting goalkeeper Faith Chubbuck, junior, ( 2-0) earned the win, making three saves.

Coach Karen Harvey’s team will be back in action Sat., March 18, at home against the University of Northwestern (MN). The non-conference game is scheduled for a noon start at W.B. Adams Stadium.
