Marina J. Powell, Assistant Editor

This semester’s Chrysalis reveal will be held April 27, at 8 p.m., in the Blue Ridge Mountain Room. Everyone is invited, and students who contributed are encouraged to present their work during the reveal.

“Working on this Magazine has changed me in so many ways. Not only have I become a better writer but I’ve formed new friendships through it that I don’t want to lose. All in all, being a member of the Chrysalis staff is something I will never forget. This semester’s magazine is my last one, but I think it’s one of the best ones we have done so far,” said Kristina Cossa, Assistant Editor.

While the semester has been exceptionally hard, the staff has made huge contributions, and the magazine will be printed and available at the Reveal.

“Spring 2023 was a difficult semester for Chrysalis. Our editor for the past three years graduated in December, and we had serious computer issues. However, members of the staff put in extra hours to catch up; we got many great submissions; and the new editor-in-chief, Marina Powell, learned her job very quickly. We got the magazine back from the printer in record time, and it’s a fine publication,” explained Katherine Grimes, Advisor for Chrysalis.
