Hooked on Fishing

When: Friday, Sept. 15, 6–7 p.m.–weekly on Fridays, until Oct 14.

Location: Adam’s Lake Gazebo Ferrum College

Description: Get hooked on fishing or maybe you already are.  Bring your rod and tackle or we will will have equipment for both spin and fly fishing. Meet at the Gazebo at Adams Lake that is below the library. Free Program!

Summit Springs Clay Target Shooting

When: Sun., Sept. 17, 2– 5 p.m.

Location: Summit Springs, Inc., 12991 Franklin St., Ferrum, VA 24088.

Description: We will be going out to do some Clay Target Shooting. Summit Springs, which is just down the road will be providing the equipment and instructions on how to do it properly and safely. Meet at Summit Springs, 12991 Franklin St, Ferrum, VA 24088. FREE! No Registration Required.

Disc Golf

When: Thurs., Sept. 21, 5:30–6:30 p.m., very two weeks on Thursday, until Oct. 27, 2023

Location: Meet at the practice tee next to the Tennis Courts

Description: Come out and play disc golf with us. Discs and Instruction provided if needed.

Archery

When: Fri., Sept. 22, 11:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.

Location: We will be set up next to the Fitness Center behind the two NOA equipment buildings.

Description:  Archery equipment and instruction provided. No personal bows and arrows allowed.  No experience necessary. Free Program!
