Stomach rumbles, mind blank, but not yet ready for lunch.

Student Engagement Team (SET) office has Treat Tuesdays during common hour and happen every last Tuesday of every month.

There are snacks set out in the office for students, faculty, and staff to come and enjoy an in-between-meals snack.

On Jan. 30, 40 students walked into the SET office to enjoy chocolate chip cookies and steaming hot chocolate with mini marshmallows.

Melanie Rooks, Coordinator of Student Engagement and International Programming is happy with the response but has bigger ideas for treat Tuesdays and hopes that more students will frequent the SET office on other days as well.

“Our Mission and goal as SET for Treat Tuesdays is to foster a sense of belonging amongst students, faculty and staff through food and fellowship,” says Rooks.

The snacks are provided by Aladdin Campus Dining, and students are always welcome to come in and give suggestions on what kinds of snacks they want to see at the next Treat Tuesday.

“It is a pleasure to get to interact with a variety of students, and I hope to see more students come in,” says Rooks.

The next Treat Tuesday will be next Tues., Feb. 27.
