As the spring sports season continues, tennis continues to fall at the feat of their opponents.

On Sun. March 17, the Panthers faced Johnson and Wales on the home courts. Both women and men lost with scores of 1-8.

Tripoom Jala, junior, and Gabriel Alavarez , sophomore, marked the only Ferrum win for the game in their doubles match, where the duo held their own against the team on the other side of the court.

Similarly, Hannah Huffman, junior, claimed a three-match win against Courtney Newton.

On Wed. March 20, Men’s Tennis played Washington and Lee, but fell short with a 0-9 loss.

With hopes of a turn-around from the players and coach alike, the tennis season will continue on Wed. March 27 against Bridgewater and Fri. March 29 against Shenandoah.
