Ferrum College Younglife sprung into action Jan 14. with the first meeting of spring semester.
The first meeting was well attended; the group played flashlight tag and talked about upcoming dates for the next worship night as well as planning some future meetings.
“For 2026, I’m super excited about more opportunities to meet with students on campus and for our existing Younglife students to grow deeper connections” said Brittney Watts one of the Younglife leaders.
Last semester Younglife started to hold Worship Nights, co-lead with bible studies held on campus.
“Bible study leaders are excited to plan some outdoor worship nights on the quad this semester when it is warmer” said Watts.
Members say Younglife is a great way to build community.
“I’m hoping this year of Younglife brings joy, peace, and more people to the club!” said junior Emily Smith. “I’m excited to see what our leaders have planned for us this semester”.
Younglife worships nights are a great way to begin getting involved.
“I think it will be exciting to try to grow in God’s word and find new ways we can reach more people (and) lead them to Jesus through bible study and worship nights” said junior Austin Brigman.
If interested, stop by the club fair table Thurs. 22 from 8pm-9pm in the Panthers Den in lower Franklin.
On Jan. 28 in the Virginia Room, Younglife will be hosting a tote bag painting night that is free for students.
