The first Music Department concert of the spring semester will be held on Feb. 8. Music students will perform in the Panther’s Den starting at 8 p.m.

“This (event) is to showcase our students in the Music Department, and (it) also gives them the experience of live performance, which is extremely important in being a music major. We love when the campus can get involved,” said Jennifer Ayers-Barnard, head of the Music Department.

While previous concerts have been held in the music building, these performances are now being held in the Panther’s Den to accommodate a larger audience.

The concert is free for students, staff, faculty, and the community. Refreshments will be provided.
