With a final score of 49-42,  the Panthers women’s basketball team fell to Randolph College in Lynchburg VA, at Giles Gymnasium last Saturday.

After tossing in 22 points in the first quarter, Randolph made way for a win. Panther, Trina Lewis made a jump shot, scoring the team’s first points in the first quarter.

In the last half of the game, both teams struggled to find an advantage and outscore the other, however, in the end, Randolph did what was needed to get the home win.

Key stats of the game for the Panthers included Demeisha Canada 14 pts, 8 reb; Kayleigh Shreffler 7 pts, 4 ast; Trina Lewis 5 pts, 5 reb.
